Purpose and Objectives |
The purpose of the Audio Visual Division is to allow OLC members, with interest and expertise on the topic, to address changes in such areas as technology, format, copyright, policies, etc., and to share that information with the profession through various program efforts.
Unit Objectives
In addition to the goals and objectives in the Ohio Library Council Long-Range Plan,
1. Use the OLC Website to provide information to division members, share resources and make better use of the email discussion list, if needed.
2. Collaborate with divisions and committees to include programming at chapter conferences and the 2008 Conferences (Adult, Children's, Management, Support Staff & Innovations).
3. Develop a core list of films, music and audio book and share on the Website.
4. Develop a News Service to post to the Website with monthly tips.
