Action Council
Purpose and Objectives
1. To increase chapter membership by encouraging employees of all libraries in the chapter to join OLC, to encourage library boards to support employee membership and involvement, and to assist our Chapter representative to the Membership Committee in tasks designed by the Membership Committee as necessary.
2. To conduct a space and technology inventory of libraries in our chapter to identify alternative venues that can host future meetings, training, conferences or professional development workshops.
3. To assess the specific regional pursuits and concerns of our chapter and relay information to the OLC about what resources and/or services meet the needs and interests of our chapter's membership.
4. To make a formal proposal for our chapter's 2011 plan for an event.
