Purpose and Objectives
- To produce the Chapter Conference; to select quality programs that meets the needs and interests of the chapter's membership. To offer a full-day event that offers programming, keeps the membership informed of current issues facing libraries and the organization, and to provide networking opportunities.
- To increase chapter membership by encouraging employees of all libraries in the chapter to join OLC, and to encourage library boards to support employee membership and involvement. The primary way to accomplish these goals is to assist our Chapter Representative in the Membership Committee with tasks designed by that committee as needed.
- To update the space and technology inventory of libraries as needed in our chapter to identify alternative venues that can host future meetings, training, conferences or professional development workshops.
