Purpose and Objectives
In addition to the goals and objectives in the Ohio Library Council Long-Range Plan,
1. To increase chapter membership by encouraging employees of all libraries in the Chapter to join OLC and to encourage library boards to support employee membership and involvement.
2. To increase active participation of the Chapter members.
3. To select quality programs for the Chapter Conference that meets the needs and interests of the chapter's membership.
4. To increase attendance at the Chapter's conference.
5. To nominate a diverse slate of candidates for action council.
6. To keep membership informed of current legislative issues and promote active support of appropriate library-related legislation.
