Purpose and Objectives |
The purpose of the Small Libraries* Division is to represent the interests of and provide a forum for administrators, staff members, and trustees of small libraries on issues of particular concern to small libraries in Ohio.
- To encourage networking among small library directors through a series of forums
- To redefine the category of a small library to better suit our membership
- To promote new programming for small libraries and their support staff at Chapter Conferences and the 2011 Convention and Expo
*A small library as defined by the Small Libraries Division includes but is not limited to libraries that meet the following criteria – (revised 11/04)
An operating budget under $1,000,000.
A service population of less than 20,000.
