The Ohio Library Council is hosting dinner meetings at seven locations around the state for public library trustees and administrators.
The program at the 2012 OLC Trustee Dinners will focus on the latest information about the state's continuing economic challenges and how library trustees and administrators can best prepare for the challenges ahead along with new issues at the Statehouse, including:
- the status of the OLC's omnibus legislation that will address a number of issues impacting public libraries;
- the Governor's initiative on shared services among local governments, schools and public libraries, and the Local Government Innovation (LGIF) grants to support shared services projects;
- and the Kasich administration's plans for mid-term review of the state budget.
