Outreach is a crucial service in maintaining vibrant and literate communities. This webinar will focus on communicating the importance of outreach services to your library board, directors and administrators. Speaker:Rachel Gut is the Outreach Services Manager for the Dayton Metro Library. She has worked in public libraries since 1993, and discovered in 1994 that Outreach was the best department in the library! She started with the Dayton Metro Library Outreach Services Department in 2005, when services consisted of a homebound program, and over the last five has added a children's bookmobile, a lobby stop service, outreach to new immigrants and participation in local events.
