Marketing library products

1. List three products (services) offered by your library.

2. Describe the competition in the community for each of the services. Competition can be direct (a specific commercial entity) or indirect (too many other activities at the same time that the service is offered, for example).

3. Which product is the most costly, i.e. requires most budget and staff time?

4. Which product most needs marketing? Why?

5. Which product most needs re-designing to bring it to the same standards offered by other libraries or commercial services?

6. Which product is most valued by your users? Why?

7. Which service does your library offer that is least used or valued?

8. How can you determine what services your users would like you to have that you don't currently have?
