Place
Considering "place" in the marketing mix.
Where are library services offered? Wherever needed! Special library facilities such
as computer rooms, bookmobile services, genealogy rooms, branch locations, special
programs for outreach, and web site services are examples.
Massillon
Public Library's Bookmobile Service began in June 2002. In 2006, a new vehicle was purchased with grant money and donations. The new bus is longer and higher than the original bookmobile and includes a wheelchair lift.
The library markets two outreach services in addition to the
bookmobile: the Homebound service for individuals and the Reachout service for groups or
facilities.
Regional Library Systems
Ohio Regional
Library Systems are four multi-type library organizations that develop
services for Ohio academic, public, school, and special libraries. The four
regions are Northeast Regional Library System [NEO-RLS], Northwest Regional
Library System [NORWELD], Southeast Regional Library System [SERLS], and
Southwest Regional Library System [SWON Libraries].
Visitors to the web site
immediately know where they are and what they can do! The library has a terrific list of all services prominently listed
on the home page, and a changing picture display of the library. Visitors to the actual library site have the convenience of a 24-hour drive-up depository for the return of borrowed items!

Responding to a need for new library products and services, Wright Memorial Public Library offers audio books, eBooks, music and video downloads; teen area on MySpace.com; library blogs, eMail newsletters, and RSS feeds to eNewsletters; and wireless Internet access for laptops on the main floor, in the Teen Scene area,
Greenville Public
Library web site has a photo and history page devoted to the unique architecture of the building.
The library also promotes their genealogy collection and genealogy room.
