Awards and Honors Recommends recipients for awards after soliciting nominations from the library community.
Diversity Awareness and Resources Recommends ways OLC can address all aspects of diversity as it relates to the library profession in general and the Ohio library community in particular.
Expo Coordinates and presents the OLC's Expo.
Government Relations Studies all legal and legislative matters of concern and interest to libraries and librarians in the state, disseminates information concerning these matters to the membership, and makes recommendations for legislation to the Ohio General Assembly.
Intellectual Freedom Monitors OLC's intellectual freedom activities and offers guidance for specific library problems. Works with the Government Relations Committee and OLC legal counsel as the need arises.
Library Education Supports OLC's educational programs through research into areas such as core competencies and trends in the delivery of education, and to recommend the development of programs focused on emerging topics of interest and concern to the library community.
Membership Designs the annual membership campaign to include all types of libraries. The committee works in conjunction with other unit coordinators and chairs to publicize OLC and its activities.
