2/4/10 Think Ahead. Think Opportunity: An OLC Education Event for Ohio's Libraries is Announced

op*por*tu*ni*ty: a chance, specifically one that offers some kind of advantage

Customer demand is up.  Resources are down.  Library staff is being asked to work in new and different ways.  Change is no longer an option.  While the landscape in Ohio's libraries changed drastically last year, there is still a tremendous amount of opportunity to be explored going forward.

The Ohio Library Council is pleased to announce Think Ahead. Think Opportunity: An OLC Education Event for Ohio's Libraries. Join your peers from across the state on March 31 at Kent State University to explore new opportunities available through education sessions ranging from management and leadership issues to community collaboration ideas and new innovations within social media and technological realms.  This day is a coming together of the library community to exchange ideas, foster creative approaches to work and define opportunities for all Ohio libraries.

The event agenda, speaker biographies, registration details and hotel information are available now.
