02/05/07 OLC Legislative Day Scheduled
The OLC's Legislative Day for public library trustees, directors, and staffs is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square, Columbus. In addition to the traditional focus on the proposed biennium budget, the event will showcase the Ready To Read initiative supported by the OLC and State Library of Ohio. Plus, representatives from four state agencies – Treasurer, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Auditor – will be on hand to talk about issues from their agencies that are of specific interest to public libraries.
