2/10/10 OLC Legislative Day – March 16
Library trustees, staff, and Friends are invited to attend the Ohio Library Council's Legislative Day 2010 on March 16. General sessions will be held at the Westin Hotel, 310 S. High St., Columbus.
This year's Legislative Day is focused on updating legislators on how the reductions in state funding have impacted the libraries in their district. Public library representatives are encouraged to come to Columbus prepared to share information with their legislators about the challenges they face as the need for library services is increasing at a time when state funding is decreasing.
Every public library in Ohio needs to be represented at the 2010 OLC Legislative Day.
