3/03/05 Learn Workstation Safety Tips at Your Computer

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) is offering online training in ergonomics. If you work on a computer more than four hours daily, the BWC's Office Ergonomics Online teaches you to work safely and comfortably. This free Web-based training program is:

  • Convenient – Learn while you work at your workstation;
  • Effective – After program completion, 90 percent of participants say they are more comfortable working;
  • Efficient – Self-paced, interactive tutiorial takes only 30 minutes; and
  • Affordable – Help your company save an estimated $30,000 for each carpal tunnel syndrome workers' comp claim. -National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke
