03/10/10 Free Gaming Event at Upper Arlington Public Library
Dr. Scott Nicholson, Syracuse University, will present Gaming in Libraries: A Gentle Introduction on April 8 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Upper Arlington Public Library. Nicholson will discuss a variety of game types, present a model for selecting games based upon your library's mission, and present some free and low-cost gaming programs to help you get started with gaming. This event is appropriate for public, school, or academic libraries, as there will be a variety of board and electronic game types covered for a wide range of ages. This is a free event for individual members or staff of OLC institutional member libraries ($40 non-members).
