4/27/11 OLC to Host Discussion Forums for Administrators of Small Libraries
The Ohio Library Council Small Libraries Division will host discussion forums for administrators of small libraries at six locations around Ohio in May-June 2011. These forums are designed for directors, fiscal officers, HR managers, and other administrators of small libraries to come together with peers in their areas to discuss issues of common interest and to share ideas on how to deal with challenges unique to small libraries.
The forums will be hosted by members of the OLC Small Libraries Division Action Council and facilitated by Doug Evans, OLC Executive Director. The agenda will include:
- OLC Update
- Introduction of discussion topics; request for specific concerns to be discussed
- Facilitated discussion on topics
- Networking/discussion

There is no charge to attend these forums, but registration is required so that all participants can be accommodated. Registration is available on the OLC website, and includes an opportunity for registrants to submit topics for discussion. These forums are open only to administrators of libraries that are Institutional members of the OLC.
