05/02/06 Center for Community Solutions to Sponsor Local TEL Fiscal Impact Training Programs
The proposed TEL amendment has broad implications for local government entities like schools, libraries, parks, cities, counties, zoos, port authorities, mental health boards, etc. One way to understand the fiscal implications of the amendment is to complete a local government fiscal impact report. David Ellis and Shawn Brown of Community Solutions are leading a series of local training sessions to help local governments prepare such reports and to increase understanding of the amendment. While this training may be best suited to local government fiscal staff, all local government officials and leaders are welcome to attend. Training dates and locations include:
