07/12/10 Young Adult Division Accepting Nominations for 2011 James Cook Book Award

The James Cook Book Award: Celebrating Diversity in Teen Literature recognizes a book that promotes and celebrates cultural, ethnic, or social diversity. Eligible books, either fiction or non-fiction, feature a teen as one of the main characters; demonstrate excellence in writing; promote cultural, ethnic, or social diversity; and have a wide appeal to a teen audience.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2011 James Cook Book Award. Nomination forms may be submitted to the Ohio Library Council by mail (1105 Schrock Rd, Suite 440, Columbus, OH 43229) fax (614) 410-8098, or e-mail (olc@olc.org). If you submit a nomination by e-mail, complete the nomination form, save the file to your computer, and then send it is an attachment to your e-mail.
