7/20/05 County Law Libraries May Try for LLGSF Funds
In the 2006-2007 state budget, county law libraries lost a portion of their funding. Several law libraries have suggested that in 2006 they will approach their county budget commissions and request a portion of the LLGSF. The OLC does not believe that the law libraries are legally entitled to LLGSF money. Legislation is being drafted to make it very clear that law libraries and any others cannot receive LLGSF money.
