7/20/05 OLC Launches "Members Only" Web Site
Portions of the OLC Web site are now restricted to members only – accessible only by Individual (library staff) members, Trustees, Friends, and Institutional (library) members. By now, members should have received a memo via e-mail and/or regular mail regarding their member identification (ID) and password for the members-only sections. Each director should have received the ID and password for the library's Institutional access to the restricted areas of the Web site.
By protecting the valuable benefits and resources on the Ohio Library Council's Web site, the OLC will have the ability to enhance the benefits of membership for those who have paid their annual dues by offering even more online resources as well as implementing online payment for event registrations and individual membership dues. News, information, and other online resources have been limited to those who have made the conscious decision to support the organization and contribute to the resources necessary to make them available to the members.
OLC members can request their ID and password by e-mail at any time from the Member Login page or by contacting the OLC at olc@olc.org or (614) 416-2258 during OLC office hours (Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
