7/21/08 OLC's Online Learning Programs Updated
In the first five months of 2008, OLC's three online tutorials (Orientation, Marketing, and Reference) had a total of 67,855 visitors and a combined total of 254,384 hits. Beginning this month, visitors to the sites will benefit from a score of updates designed to keep the programs current and relevant. Not only have the sites been checked for accuracy, but several new links and images have been added. Concepts from a variety of reference and online sources were added throughout all modules to enhance content and emphasize changes in library technologies and in user expectations for information access. A major change is the creation of new resources lists including:

The three online programs continue to serve the training needs of a host of OLC members. They are available at no-cost, self-paced, and filled with practical information beneficial to all sizes of libraries.
