08/08/06 OLC Annual Business Meeting
The Ohio Library Council will host its Annual Membership Business Meeting on Friday, September 15, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at the Lausche Building on the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The meeting will follow the annual OPLIN Stakeholders meeting, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. Both meetings will be held in conjunction with the OLC Expo taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the same location.
As a non-profit professional association, the OLC is required to host an annual business meeting for its members. There is currently no business pending before the membership. Members are permitted to submit items of business for consideration. A quorum of the lesser of five percent of the voting members or 100 voting members present is required for business to be transacted at the meeting.
