8/10/11 Ohio Department of Taxation Releases TPPT Reimbursement Information
The Ohio Department of Taxation has updated information on the Tangible Personal Property Tax (TPPT) reimbursements.
Information about the TPPT reimbursement for most of the public library levies will be found on the tables located under "Special" districts. Please read the Overview memo to understand the replacement process, and check the spreadsheet to know what reimbursement your library will receive.
Association libraries will need to check under the type of taxing district that went on the ballot on their behalf. For example, if it was a school district that collects the levy, please refer to the Overview and spreadsheets about schools. Also, remember that the replacement process for schools is different than the replacement process for other taxing districts.
