8/26/08 GroundWork to Host Candidate Forums
GroundWork and The Center for Community Solutions will host candidate forums in four locations in Ohio in September. This is your opportunity to ask Ohio House and Senate candidates in your area about their support of early care and education issues – including the Ohio public libraries' Ready to Read program. As a supporter of GroundWork, the OLC encourages your attendance. The forum schedule includes:
- Thursday, September 4, 6:30 p.m.
Kilcawley Center, Youngstown State University
- Tuesday, September 9, 6:30 p.m.
Riffe Center Capitol Theater, Columbus
- Thursday, September 18, 6:30 p.m.
Sinclair Ponitz Center, Dayton
- Tuesday, September 23, 7:00 p.m.
Athens Community Center, Athens
The forums are free to attend, but seating is limited. To register, visit www.groundworkohio.org or call (216) 781-2944 at least one week before the program you plan to attend.
