11/20/07 Open Records Workshops
The OLC has joined with the other local government associations in offering additional training on the new Open Records Act. Although elected officials or their designee are required by law to take this training, public library officials are NOT required to take the training but are required to comply with the legislation.
The workshops are being offered at seven training sites throughout the state. Two training opportunities will be offered at each location to accommodate the projected number of attendees. If you're interested in attending, please complete the online registration form. There will be additional training opportunities in 2008.
