Call for Programs: 2006 Diversity Conference
The OLC is now accepting programs for the Diversity Conference on June 7-8, 2006 in Columbus. The Diversity Program Committee is seeking library-based programs that include but are not limited to expanding cultural awareness, increasing sensitivity to economic, physical, and social differences, encouraging advocacy, cooperation, and partnerships, heightening self-awareness, and showcasing best practices in services and programming.
The program planning committee will review all programs early in 2006 and notify all who submit on the status of their program offering. Calls for sessions for the other three conferences will be issued periodically over the next several months. If you are interested in submitting a program idea for the Diversity Conference, please follow these directions:
- Download the program form in Microsoft Word (If you are asked for a network password just click cancel.)
- Complete the form in Word and save the document.
- Fax the completed form to OLC at (614) 416-2270 or send the form as an attachment via e-mail to wpiper@olc.org
