HB 137 - Permit tax authority to decline submitting certain levy to voters
Sponsored by Rep. Brian Lorenz (R-Powell). House Bill (HB) 137 poses a serious threat to public libraries by allowing a taxing authority to block a library from placing a property tax levy on the ballot, effectively silencing both the library and the voters.
